Haiku, Day 16

Red-tailed hawk perches
on the leafless, acid-green dome
of a weeping willow.

This Haiku, and the next, were written on the road somewhere in the northern end of California’s great valley. I’ll keep going until I hit day 28; then I have a new challenge to follow (experimental poetry) for April.
