Compose a poem whose words — or at least the principal ones — all begin with the same letter. The words must be sourced from your newspaper.

SOURCE TEXT:  “Mauling of Phoenix boy keys debate over fate of pit bull.”  Michelle Ye Hee Lee. The Republic.  Tuesday, March 11, 2014. http://www.azcentral.com/community/phoenix/articles/20140311pit-bull-mauling-phopenix-boy-debate-over-fate.html

NOTES:  With a sigh, I note that this is actually yesterday’s news — but it was at the top of today’s spread online.  It is actually a heart-rending story (and I come out as pro-boy and pro-Kevin).  I felt a  bit guilty as I extracted all the words beginning with P, from the title through the “You might also like..” titles at the bottom.  I was surprised at how much of the story came through the key words.  I could have written an entirely different poem from this prompt, using words from multiple stories and even using the same-letter words only for principal words.   But I like how this came out.
